In every arte Hotel, we give creative, young or up-and-coming artists a stage: our artist’s place event series moves between all art forms, in a finely dosed irregularity and always relaxed atmosphere!
On 5 December, Since11 played for the third time in our cosy wine bar at the arte Hotel Kufstein! The artist quartet was already our guest in 2024 and 2025.

Since11 started where many people don’t even look: in small mountain villages, shared flats, pubs and living rooms – anywhere where there was room for two guitars and two voices. In 2011, a childhood friendship between Claus Stecher and Philipp Trojer turned into a band that can now look back on over 1,000 live shows in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland: from indie clubs to large festival stages.
Today, Since11 are based in Zurich. Their sound: indie rock with a pop attitude, funk groove and raw charm: sometimes danceable and full of energy, sometimes folky and intimate. Their songs move between spontaneity, melancholy and a spirit of optimism – always direct, always genuine.
The numbers speak for themselves: their singles I Don’t Wanna Be Like You and Oh Lara have achieved airplay on mainstream and indie radio stations in Italy and Switzerland (including Südtirol 1). Oh Lara was also included in a Spotify Editorial Playlist. They have performed live as support for Wolfmother, Mother’s Cake, Sawyer Hill and Paul Gilbert.
In 2025, Since11 launched their own festival in Bolzano with DITCH DAY – the second edition will take place on 10 October. The band also releases new songs every eight weeks. The current single Destination Anywhere (release: 29 August 2025) shows Since11 from a more folky and intimate side and is a harbinger of the new EP Lara, which will be released in early 2026. Live: no playback, no net – Since11 stand for authentic shows full of energy, spontaneity and closeness to the audience. Four musicians who trust each other and their songs. Every show is different, every show is memorable.
