Presenting: Vitus & Urban, our wine bar with a difference! Hip, trendy, urban, cosy and never boring! Taste wines from the Weinviertel, Kamptal and Wachau regions and enjoy hot and cold snacks with a new twist.
We like to be explorers for our friends and guests. Our focus is on local producers of unusual delicacies and, above all, Lower Austrian wine with a focus on the Kamptal, Wachau, Kremstal and, of course, Vitus’ home region – the Weinviertel. But art and cabaret are also part of our affinity for the extraordinary. Urban likes to bring his friends into play here.

We have not only created a place to feel good, but have also thought about your physical well-being. Taste your way through the local regions and the diverse worlds of flavour. Fresh, regional and varied cuisine is a top priority for our small delicacies!
Wine is timeless. It is appreciated, loved – often even adored – by young and old. Many an artist has also been inspired by this enchanting grape juice.

With our restaurant, we offer you a modern, cosy environment in which culinary and artistic individualism has found its place and is actively lived and promoted. The wine list is our centrepiece, the “artist’s place” the icing on the cake. And every month, you can look forward to one of our legendary wine tastings with well-known and new winemakers.

Vitus & Urban introduce themselves:
I am Vitus
I like the fresh air and when the sun rises over the vineyards, my heart soars. I grew up as the son of a farming family in the beautiful Weinviadl.
There was always something going on here and we discovered our curiosity for wine at school. It was a nice time. We were all winegrowers, deeply rooted in the region and the nature around us. The Weinviadl is already a beautiful region and the Wachau has become the centre of the world for me. My mum used to say: “Home is where your heart is” and so I was drawn to the beautiful Tyrol and Kufstoa.
I am Urban
I’m a true Tyrolean, that much I can tell you, but I went out early and watched the world go by. As an artist, I love painting, so I’m going to have my office in our wine bar at an artist’s place!
