The fortress museum is located on the largest preserved medieval fortress in Europe. In the magnificent rooms of Hohensalzburg Fortress, the history of its construction and life is on display. In addition to the Fortress Museum and the Rainer Regiment Museum, the third floor of the fortress houses the Princes’ Rooms.
