Salzburg is the city of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born here in 1756. Today, Mozart’s home on Makartplatz and his birthplace in Getreidegasse are museums that tell the story of the child prodigy’s childhood. The spirit of Mozart can still be felt in Salzburg today through various festivals, concerts and city tours.
