About Chris May

On 7 May 2026, we can look forward to a very special musical evening: Chris May returns to our hu:goes14 Rooftop-Bar and once again brings his unmistakable blend of blues, folk and country with him. Against the backdrop of the Salzburg evening sky, our guests can expect an evening full of rousing melodies, earthy grooves and musical diversity.

With his virtuoso fingerstyle guitar playing, the use of harmonica and didgeridoo as well as his expressive voice, Chris May knows how to captivate the audience from the very first note. His repertoire ranges from soulful ballads about life and love to rhythmic pieces that invite you to tap along – authentic and full of soul.

Personal stories and insights into his extraordinary musical journey also make his performances something special. Inspired by his adventures at sea and his deep connection to nature, Chris May tells stories that are taken directly from life and lend his music a special depth.

While our guests enjoy selected drinks, the rooftop bar will be transformed into a place of music, enjoyment and inspiration. This evening promises to be another highlight in our artists place – atmospheric and unforgettable.
