About Train D-Lay
Event review: Train D-Lay – Real. Honest. Austrian
On 7 August 2025, the hu:goes 14 Rooftop Bar at the arte Hotel was transformed into a place full of beats, emotions and authentic stories. As part of the Culture Corner, Train D-Lay brought the finest Austrian dialect music with urban flair to the rooftops of the city – proving once again that honest words and strong beats are an unbeatable combination.
From the very first track, Train D-Lay captivated the audience. His songs told of life, of dreams, of struggles and of sticking with it – always carried by his central message: “Believe in yourself, work for your goals and dreams, but always stay true to your line.”
The mood shifted effortlessly between energetic hip-hop beats that invited people to party and reflective moments that left goosebumps in their wake.
The atmosphere was unique: sunset, balmy summer air and an audience that empathised with every line. It was palpable that Train D-Lay not only makes music, but has been living a culture since he discovered hip-hop at the age of 12. Every verse, every gesture seemed genuine and undisguised.
The evening ended with long-lasting applause and the feeling of having experienced something special. The Culture Corner once again showed how great live music can be in an intimate, urban atmosphere, with Train D-Lay proving that Austrian hip-hop doesn’t just want to be heard, it wants to be felt.
