Rumba and Roll – Live on 20 November
On 20 November, we welcomed the duo Rumba and Roll – consisting of Erich Lindenthaler and Ignaz Greil – to the Culture Corner of the arte Hotel Salzburg.
The two musicians wowed the audience with two acoustic guitars, authentic vocals and a wide range of styles. Their repertoire ranged from rumba and waltz to rock’n’roll, blues and country – sometimes instrumental, sometimes sung, sometimes their own compositions, sometimes finely selected cover pieces.
Rumba and Roll deliberately dispensed with elaborate technology and instead focussed on real, natural sound: two guitars, a microphone and a lot of feeling. The result was a warm, honest sound that reached the audience directly – handmade music in its most beautiful form.
The audience experienced a varied evening full of rhythm, emotion and musical joy. Stay tuned: You can expect special artists and a real live atmosphere at the next Culture Corner too.
