Joschi Soul
be music.
be art.
At every arte Hotel, we create a space for creative encounters and new perspectives. With our event series artist’s place, we provide young, emerging and established artists with a platform where music, art and performance can flourish freely. Whether electronic sounds, visual art or interdisciplinary formats, our artist’s place deliberately moves between art forms and thrives on openness, a spirit of experimentation and exchange. In a relaxed atmosphere, the hotel becomes a meeting place for artists, guests and locals – a place where creativity comes to life.
About Joschi Soul
On 17 December 2026, music will once again fill the air above the rooftops of Salzburg: At the next artists’ place, we’ll be welcoming Joschi Soul to our hu:goes14 Rooftop Bar at the arte Hotel Salzburg.
Behind Joschi Soul is the musician and singer-songwriter Johanna Kotvojs. She has been living in Salzburg since 2018, where she studied elementary music and dance education at the Mozarteum. Today, she combines her work as a musician and teacher with her passion for voice, movement and creative expression.
Musically, Joschi Soul moves between soul, singer-songwriter and modern loop elements. Using her voice and a loop station, she builds her songs layer by layer, creating a sound that is both personal and multi-faceted. Her music thrives on honest stories, emotional moments and a special connection with the audience.
