Our Trainspotting Lounge is currently serving as a venue for contemporary art once again at the arte Hotel Salzburg is once again serving as a stage for contemporary art. Featuring the expressive works of Ira Repey, the exhibition is characterised by intense colours, delicate lines and an extraordinary wealth of detail.

In her works, we repeatedly encounter faces, eyes, organic forms and densely interwoven structures. Vibrant shades of orange, red, pink and gold contrast with delicate black-and-white drawings, creating a visual world that is at once powerful, mysterious and multi-layered. Many of the motifs change as you look at them – the longer you stand in front of them, the more details, figures and new connections you can discover.

It is particularly within the distinctive architecture of our Trainspotting Lounge, the works have a unique impact. Exposed concrete, large windows and the urban view of Salzburg and the passing trains form a fascinating contrast to the artist’s colour-rich and organic visual language.

The exhibition invites hotel guests, travellers and residents of Salzburg to pause for a moment, take a closer look and integrate art naturally into their everyday lives. Because at the arte Hotel Salzburg, we see art not merely as decoration, but as an encounter, a source of inspiration and an integral part of our hotel.
