In our hu:goes14 rooftop bar, we give young, talented and up-and-coming artists a stage. The “Culture Corner” is not just about music – it is an experience that highlights the diversity of the Salzburg art scene. We firmly believe that art in all its facets is an essential part of our community and, above all, of the city of Salzburg. We are therefore delighted to offer creative and committed minds the opportunity to present themselves in our centre and thus reach a wide audience.

About Deeside
On 24/10/2014, Deeside transformed the Culture Corner at hu:goes14 into an atmospheric sound space full of warmth, intimacy and authentic live music. In front of the shimmering night-time window front and in a cosy living room atmosphere, the duo presented an evening that was both intimate and powerful.
With her clear, expressive voice, the singer captivated the audience from the very first note, while the guitarist created the perfect setting with soulful acoustic arrangements. Well-known songs and her own interpretations took on a whole new depth thanks to Deeside’s characteristic blend of emotion, calm and precision.
The guests listened relaxed from small tables, some with a drink in their hand, others engrossed in the music or the moment. In between, people smiled, tapped along, filmed and applauded – a real togetherness between the stage and the audience.
We would like to thank everyone who made this performance so special: the fantastic audience, the hu:goes14 team and, of course, everyone who supports our event series.
