about the Austrian Squash Challenge
From 2 to 8 March 2026, Salzburg will once again be the stage for top international sport: The Austrian Squash Challenge will take place for the first time at the Messezentrum Salzburg – parallel to the car, garden and leisure trade fair.
The centrepiece is the spectacular glass court with the women’s and men’s competitions of the Mozart Open World Ranking Tournament (prize money of USD 6,000 each). Athletes from 19 nations will be competing for important world ranking points. Austria’s number 1 Aqeel Rehman, who has already won the tournament twice, is also among the participants.
The top seeds in the men’s event are Rowan Damming and in the women’s event Breanne Flynn. Strong challengers such as Benjamin Aubert as well as promising young talents will provide additional excitement.
