The imperial Schönbrunn Palace complex, former summer residence of the Habsburgs, with its magnificent architecture, opulent rooms, outbuildings and extensive park is one of Austria’s most important cultural monuments due to its long and eventful history. St Charles’ Church

St Charles’ Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna’s 4th district of Wieden. It is located on the south side of Karlsplatz, close to the city centre, and is one of the most important baroque church buildings north of the Alps and one of Vienna’s landmarks. Belvedere Palace

The Belvedere Palaces were built at the beginning of the 18th century by the famous baroque architect Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 – 1736). The route is approx. 41.8 km long, altitude: 689 metres, duration approx. 5.5 hours
This route leads through the historic centre of Linz to the Pöstlingberg and further around Linz.

A look behind the scenes at the Riedel Glass Manufactory in Kufstein! Look over the shoulders of the glassmakers as they produce glass art in the glassworks, go on a journey through the world of glass at the “SINNfonie” and experience it with your own senses. The Tyrolean glassworks offers all this and a 300 m² shop.

Tobogganing
Around the natural fortress town and in the eight picturesque villages of Kufsteinerland, numerous well-prepared forest and woodland trails await tobogganists. Before heading down into the valley, the restaurants along the toboggan runs invite you to warm up and enjoy Tyrolean specialities. Toboggans can be hired at some toboggan runs.

Pendling
The impressive Kufsteinerland local mountain Pendling invites you to go hiking. At 1,563 metres above sea level, you can enjoy a unique view from the summit cross over the Inntal, the Kaisegebirge and Kufstein all the way to the Alps and the Großglockner. At the top of the mountain inn “Kufsteinerhaus” you can enjoy a hearty snack or the famous roast pork.

Haflinger Museum Ebbs
The oldest Haflinger stud farm in the world, the Fohlenhof Ebbs, is located directly in extensive meadows with a view of the imposing Zahmer Kaiser. This is where the Haflinger Museum is located, revealing the origins of the Haflinger. Some of the exhibits are over a hundred years old and some exude a touch of Hollywood. Some of the saddles, which are over 200 years old, were used in the film “The Forgotten Valley”, which was shot in Tyrol.

OÖ Kulturquartier
The OÖ Kulturquartier combines the Landeskulturzentrum Ursulinenhof and the Offene Kulturhaus. It also includes the Kunstsammlung Land OÖ, the Moviemento arthouse cinema and various restaurants, bars and cafés. Events and changing exhibitions, the Moviemento arthouse cinema and the gastronomy at OK Platz make the OÖ Kulturquartier a lively and inspiring meeting place for young and old.

Danube Canal cycle path
The route is approx. 17 km long –
The Danube Canal runs right through Vienna and attracts visitors with beach bars on the promenade as well as Vienna’s largest graffiti scene! The best place to start is at the artistically designed waste incineration plant in Spittelau.
Hundalm ice and stalactite cave Angerberg/Mariastein
In Angerberg/Mariastein you get a glimpse into the interior of the mountain, the only public access to the ice cave in the North Tyrolean Alps. From the main entrance at 1,520 metres above sea level, the Hundalm ice and stalactite cave is up to 45 metres below the earth’s surface. In spring, the most bizarre and fascinating ice formations can be marvelled at here.

Brucknerhaus Linz
The Brucknerhaus serves as a concert and event venue and is modelled on the famous composer Anton Bruckner. This special venue is characterised by its excellent acoustics and outstanding architecture. Numerous festivals and concerts take place here every year, as well as the annual Bruckner Festival.
Ice skating
There are numerous opportunities for ice skating fun in the natural fortress town and the eight picturesque villages of Kufsteinerland. On artificial ice rinks and, weather permitting, on the Hechtsee and Thiersee. Glide over frozen lakes, do pirouettes on the ice rink. There are also covered ice arenas in Ebbs and Kufstein.
