Votive Church

Skating, in classic style, for beginners and advanced skiers. The choice of different cross-country trails in Kufsteinerland is diverse. Cross-country skiing trails are groomed in almost all eight picturesque villages in Kufsteinerland and in the natural fortress town. The cross-country ski trails with the best snow conditions are located in the higher areas of Kufsteinerland such as Bad Häring, Thiersee and Schwoich. In Schwoich, the snow-covered Stöffl trail provides perfect cross-country skiing enjoyment even when there is little snow.

Pöstlingberg & tram
From the Pöstlingberg tram, the viewing platform and the photo gallery to the zoo, the Pöstlingberg offers more than just a breathtaking view over the city and the Danube. At the top of Linz’s local mountain, you can enjoy coffee and the best Linzer Torte in Linz. You can take the Pöstlingerberg tram to the very top of the Pöstling or back down into the city from the very top.

Rattenberg Advent
The contemplative and traditional Advent in Rattenberg enchants young and old alike. From dusk onwards, the town is illuminated by warm candlelight. Torches and open fires also light up the streets.
Ice skating
There are numerous opportunities for ice skating fun in the natural fortress town and the eight picturesque villages of Kufsteinerland. On artificial ice rinks and, weather permitting, on the Hechtsee and Thiersee. Glide over frozen lakes, do pirouettes on the ice rink. There are also covered ice arenas in Ebbs and Kufstein.

Haflinger Museum Ebbs
The oldest Haflinger stud farm in the world, the Fohlenhof Ebbs, is located directly in extensive meadows with a view of the imposing Zahmer Kaiser. This is where the Haflinger Museum is located, revealing the origins of the Haflinger. Some of the exhibits are over a hundred years old and some exude a touch of Hollywood. Some of the saddles, which are over 200 years old, were used in the film “The Forgotten Valley”, which was shot in Tyrol.

Landesgalerie Linz
The Landesgalerie Linz is home to contemporary and modern art and photography. Everything that the art history of Upper Austria of the 20th century has to offer takes centre stage. Around 1,000 paintings, room installations and sculptures can be marvelled at here.

Time Travel Vienna

Time Travel Vienna is an interactive attraction that takes visitors on a multimedia journey through the history of Vienna in around 50 minutes. With the help of 5D cinema, animated figures and impressive installations, key eras of the city are brought to life and can be experienced.

Mozart’s birthplace & residence
Salzburg is the city of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born here in 1756. Today, Mozart’s home on Makartplatz and his birthplace in Getreidegasse are museums that tell the story of the child prodigy’s childhood. The spirit of Mozart can still be felt in Salzburg today through various festivals, concerts and city tours. His footprints can be found throughout the historic city centre, from the Mozart monument to the grave of his sister Nannerl.

Kaisergebirge nature reserve
The Kaisergebirge in the Tyrolean Alps is a nature reserve. It includes all the peaks of the Wilder Kaiser and the Zahmer Kaiser. The 102 km² nature reserve of the Kaisergebirge is now known for its special energy. This energy is particularly noticeable at five selected locations. Popular hiking routes lead through here as well as various themed tours.

Passion Play House Erl
The Erl Passion Play has been an integral part of the Tyrolean cultural landscape for 400 years. Every six years hundreds of villagers come together to herald in the passion play in Erl according to tradition. The venue, the Erl Passion Play House, was built especially for the passion play. Known for the distinctive scene design of the stations of the cross and modern texts, the Erl Passion Play is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

World Heritage Trail
The World Heritage Trail, newly opened in May 2010, is a total of 180 kilometres long and leads in 14 stages on the trail of the Wachau’s rich history and stimulating present.

Musicals at the Ronacher theatre

The Ronacher in Vienna is a traditional theatre in the heart of the city, known for its musical and theatre performances. Originally opened in 1872 as the “Wiener Stadttheater”, it was rebuilt by Anton Ronacher after a fire in 1884 and reopened as a variety theatre. Over the decades, the Ronacher has seen various uses, including as a cinema and concert hall.

Danube Island

The Danube Island is Vienna’s favourite local recreation area and offers numerous opportunities for entertainment over a total length of 21 km. Museum der Moderne Salzburg Mönchsberg
The Museum der Moderne Salzburg is enthroned high up on the Mönchsberg.
