Natural History Museum

One of the most important museums in the world – the Vienna Natural History Museum. Its earliest collections are over 250 years old. Today, 20 million artefacts are under scientific care. A magnificent palace of natural science has housed these constantly growing collections since 1889. Vienna City Hall on Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz in Vienna’s 1st district Innere Stadt was built from 1872 to 1883 according to designs by architect Friedrich von Schmidt. Skating, in classic style, for beginners and advanced skiers. The choice of different cross-country trails in Kufsteinerland is diverse. Cross-country skiing trails are groomed in almost all eight picturesque villages in Kufsteinerland and in the natural fortress town. The cross-country ski trails with the best snow conditions are located in the higher areas of Kufsteinerland such as Bad Häring, Thiersee and Schwoich. In Schwoich, the snow-covered Stöffl trail provides perfect cross-country skiing enjoyment even when there is little snow.

The Danube Canal runs right through Vienna and attracts visitors with beach bars on the promenade as well as Vienna’s largest graffiti scene! The best place to start is at the artistically designed waste incineration plant in Spittelau.

Mirabell Palace
Mirabell Palace and Mirabell Gardens are among the most visited sights in Salzburg. The entire complex is a listed building and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fortress museum
The fortress museum is located on the largest preserved medieval fortress in Europe. In the magnificent rooms of Hohensalzburg Fortress, the history of its construction and life is on display. In addition to the Fortress Museum and the Rainer Regimental Museum, the third floor of the fortress houses the Princes’ Rooms. These include the Prince’s Hall, the Golden Parlour and the Golden Hall.

The Belvedere Palaces were built at the beginning of the 18th century by the famous baroque architect Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 – 1736).
