Xmas Special

be artist.
be art.

on 4 December 2024

In every arte Hotel, we give creative, young or emerging artists a stage: our artist’s place event series moves between all art forms, in a finely dosed irregularity and always relaxed atmosphere!

On 4 December 2024 we celebrated an arte Xmas Special at the arte Hotel Krems!

3 artists – an evening full of inspiration

Ela Reitinger impresses with large-scale, gestural colour compositions that are full of energy and intuition. The photographer S. J. Viktor shows with his series No Faces, how emotions and perspectives can be experienced in an abstract and personal way. Nataliia Krykun fascinates with her dynamic interplay of chaos and control, which is recognised worldwide in powerful colours.

The exhibition can be visited daily from 0 – 24 h on 4 December 2024.

Ela Reitinger

At the turn of the millennium, Ela Reitinger took the plunge into artistic life, spending a lot of time in Italy on Lake Garda and living in Geinberg, Therme, Upper Austria. Her magnificent colour compositions give the viewer the freedom to interpret them for themselves. The emotions triggered when painting the works, which are mainly created in acrylic and often combined with materials of all kinds, are understood as energy paintings and arise gesturally from movement. Strong, intense and intuitive in the application of colour, seemingly random images, which are often preceded by considerations and thoughts, are usually applied to the canvas over a large area. Studied actionism with Hermann Nitsch (scholarship holder). Since then intensive involvement with action art.

S. J. Viktor

S. J. Viktor, an artistic photographer who doesn’t always keep up with the times and seeks his own path.

“Let us see what we have never seen before, let us see with our minds.”

No Faces series is images, photos that have content and convey emotions, but don’t show them straight away. The immersion in the very personal point of view leads the viewer into a mostly varied, partly abstract world.
