For over twenty years, the Salzburg Fortress Advent has been a popular fixture in the run-up to Christmas: as in previous years, more than a hundred traditional Herrnhut stars bathe Festungsgasse and the courtyard of Hohensalzburg Fortress in a sea of lights.
