About Rocky Leon
On 12 March 2026, Rocky Leon brought the energy of California to our hu:goes14 rooftopbar and provided a rousing concert evening high above the rooftops of the city. With his unique blend of hip-hop beats, reggae and ska grooves and a noticeable rock attitude, the charismatic one-man-band artist thrilled the audience from the very first minute.
Equipped with a loop station, guitar, voice, vocal beatbox and other instruments, Rocky Leon built up his songs live, layer by layer, transforming the stage into a dynamic sound laboratory. The guests experienced an energetic show full of spontaneous moments, danceable rhythms and positive vibes that quickly spread to the audience.
The native Californian, who now lives in Vienna, is known for his extraordinary musical career. A viral video brought him international attention a few years ago and paved the way from street music, hitchhiking and couchsurfing to festival and club stages in over 100 cities and more than a dozen countries. He also remained true to his passion during the coronavirus years, transforming Vienna underground stations into spontaneous concert stages.
