With a powerful mix of hip-hop beats, reggae and ska grooves and an unmistakable rock soul, Rocky Leon will bring the energy of California to Salzburg on 12 March 2026. The charismatic one-man-band artist, originally from California and now based in Vienna, stands for captivating live music that gets straight to your heart and legs.
Equipped with a loop station, guitar, voice, vocal beatbox and other instruments, Rocky Leon creates multi-layered songs live that build up layer by layer and get the audience moving. His performances are energetic, spontaneous and full of positive vibes, making them a real experience for music lovers of all generations.
His path to the world’s stages is just as extraordinary as his music: a viral video that inspired hundreds of thousands of people paved his way from street music, hitchhiking and couchsurfing to international festival and club appearances. Since 2012, Rocky Leon has played in over 100 cities and more than a dozen countries, including at renowned festivals across Europe.
Without any traditional marketing or management, his fan base grew through pure live presence, authenticity and an unmistakable stage personality. Whether it’s a large festival stage or an intimate club atmosphere, Rocky Leon feels at home everywhere and knows how to engage his audience from the very first note like no other.
