Welcome to one of the most exciting events of the winter season – “Krampus & Friends” live at the hu:goes14 Rooftopbar ! On 6 December 2024 from 21:30, together with the Urbis Pass Salzburg, we offer you an unforgettable experience high above the rooftops of Salzburg that combines tradition and modernity. Immerse yourself in the dark magic of Krampus customs as winter makes its entrance.

Behind this special event is a story that begins with passion and tradition: in 2008, a group of friends came up with the idea of founding their own new, down-to-earth and modern Krampus group. Most of the members already had experience from other Krampus groups and brought this to the Salzburg Urbis Pass. The guiding principle of the pass was to combine the tried and tested with modern approaches. And so the then still small group with only 10 members had its first big performance on 21 November 2008. Today, the Salzburg Urbis-Pass already has 23 members, including Krampuses, witches, St Nicholas and its own stewards. They present themselves at numerous Krampus runs, wreaths and traditional performances in Salzburg, Upper Austria and neighbouring Bavaria – and ensure that the tradition is passed on to the next generation with their home visits.

The terrifying Krampus figures, with their imposing masks and heavy bells, provide just the right amount of thrills. Their wild dances and sinister apparitions bring the old customs right into our rooftop bar and immerse you in an atmosphere full of suspense and mysticism. Surrounded by the picturesque views of Salzburg at night, you can enjoy the special atmosphere of this event to the full.

In terms of music, the evening will be accompanied by DJ Sticky, who will provide the perfect musical backdrop for the event with an exclusive live set. From driving beats to atmospheric sounds, he will make our bar shake and mesmerise you with a mix of classic and modern tracks.

Of course, our bar team will take care of your well-being with a selection of delicious drinks that perfectly match the winter atmosphere – from festive cocktails to timeless classics. Our menu leaves nothing to be desired. And the evening’s little treats are also well catered for: St Nicholas himself will ensure that the best-behaved guests receive a small sack as a gift – to take away and enjoy.
