The “Culture Corner” is not just about music – it is an experience that highlights the diversity of the Salzburg art scene. We firmly believe that art in all its facets is an essential part of our community and, above all, of the city of Salzburg. We are therefore delighted to offer creative and committed minds the opportunity to present themselves in our centre and thus reach a wide audience.

About Joschisoul & The Cashews
What an evening! On 13 February 2025, we were able to experience a very special musical moment at the arte Hotel Salzburg. The talented musician Johanna Kotvojs, better known as Joschisoulmusic, took us on a journey full of honest emotions, sound art and creative diversity. With her unmistakable blend of soul and polyphonic arrangements on her loop station, she captivated the audience from the very first second.
However, Joshisoul not only enchanted our audience as a solo artist. As a special highlight, Johanna brought along her friend Carmen, with whom she forms the duo The Cashews. The two harmonised in an impressive way – be it with guitar, cello or their soulful voices. Their songs, which tell of love, life and personal processes, were deeply moving and always invited the audience to sing along, hum along and share in the experience.
The atmosphere? Simply magical! The audience let themselves be carried away by the music, humming along, snapping to the beat and swaying to the melodic sounds. The interaction between the artists and the audience in particular made the evening something very special. With their open and warm manner, the two managed to create an atmosphere in which everyone felt welcome – a musical togetherness that will stay with you for a long time to come.
