On 25 September 2025, we brought Coinflip Cutie to our cosy rooftop bar at the arte Hotel Salzburg.

If you’re looking for an indie band in Austria that combines elegant alternative rock with folk sounds and performs appealing lyrics to playful hooklines, Coinflip Cutie are a must.

The basis of their catchy songs is a strong rhythm section, on which the remaining instruments and vocals are based, and unique stories were melodically told by Tom Reiterer (ex-Lamexcuse), with a pinch of melancholy and a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humour.

Following her debut album “Once I dreamed” (2012), she released “Second Chance” (both on Pumpkin Records) in 2018, which received rave reviews from the Kleinen Zeitung, Kronen Zeitung, Haubentaucher’s blog and ORF Teletext. Most recently, the band was on the road with their third album “Horizons”, which was also released on Pumpkin Records in 2024.

During their performance at Artists Place in the Hugoes 14 Rooftop Bar, Coinflip Cutie once again proved why they are one of the most exciting acts on the Austrian indie scene. They rocked the evening with energy, charm and musical precision, captivating the audience from the first to the last minute and providing an unforgettable concert moment above the rooftops of the city.
