Alternative Acoustic Indie Rock from Graz

If you’re looking for an indie band in Austria that combines elegant alternative rock with folk sounds and performs appealing lyrics to playful hooklines, Coinflip Cutie is the band for you.
The basis for their catchy songs is a strong rhythm section on which the other instruments and vocals are embedded.

Unique stories are told melodically by Tom Reiterer (ex-Lamexcuse), with a pinch of melancholy and a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humour.

This results in rousing songs and ballads that immediately lodge themselves in the ear canals and hearts. The sophisticated lyrics are also worth listening to carefully. The band has not only achieved impressive things in the studio, but also impresses live.
They have performed at the Graz PPC, Postgarage, Chelsea, Kramladen, B72, Cafe Carina Vienna, Strandbar Hermann Summer Opening, Soundgruam Timelkam, Club Wakuum, ORF Hör- und Seebühne, Wolfsberger Stadtfest, Musikfest Grabern, sunny days-festival, parkside-festival, and many more.
The annual “November Depression”, now a traditional event, is always an experience, the cosy, melancholy and cruelly sad fairytale evening with a fine unplugged performance by the band.

Following their debut album “Once I dreamed” (2012), “Second Chance” was released in 2018 (both on Pumpkin Records), which received rave reviews from Kleiner Zeitung, Kronen Zeitung, Haubentaucher’s blog and ORF Teletext. The band is currently touring with their third album “Horizons”, which was also released on Pumpkin Records in 2024.
