As a quartet with drums, bass, guitar, piano and vocals, Since11 bring relaxed summer vibes to the stage. The musicians have their brand new EP “Kinky Universe, Random Trouble” in their luggage. It features their signature mix of indie and chill rock, rounded off with elements of blues, funk and folk. This means that the four guys are ready for any festival stage or club show. Particularly exciting: Since11 don’t have a lead singer – but two of them.

They grew up in the middle of the South Tyrolean Alps – yet their music sounds like a cocktail on the beach in Hawaii: with a relaxed retro vibe, Since11 take a break from everyday life together with their fans and immerse themselves in groovy rhythms, catchy hooklines and laid-back guitar riffs. Somewhere between indie and rock music, the voices of Claus Stecher and Philipp Trojer collide and merge in a rarely heard harmony and variety.

Philipp and Claus have been on stage together hundreds of times since 2011 and anyone who has seen them live knows how much they can captivate people: their charismatic demeanour, their carefree manner and their wit create a very special energy that they pass on to their audience. In their songs, Since11 go in search of the special in the ordinary, tell stories that are taken straight from life and describe what moves the artist’s soul – often with a wink that invites you not to take yourself and life too seriously.

Claus and Philipp started out in 2011 as an acoustic cover duo. During their performances, the two take the audience on a journey back in time to their personal roots: completely raw and unadorned, with two guitars and two voices, Since11 perform cover versions of rock and pop songs that have shaped them musically and accompanied them on their journey as musicians. Their innovative interpretations can be heard on the studio album “NoLogo Gentlemen’s Club” (2014) and the live album “Potzblitz.Session” (2020). Since11 continue to perform as a duo to this day.

Claus and Philipp opened a new chapter in 2022: the EP “Home From Holidays” is the first to feature 5 songs that the duo wrote together and recorded with the full band line-up – yet the acoustic and minimalist character of the band remains intact. The songs sound handmade, organic and clearly convey the joy with which Since11 go about their musical work. The follow-up EP “Kinky Universe, Random Trouble” will be released in October 2024, taking Since11 to the next logical step: the arrangements of the songs are more sophisticated, electric guitar sounds are given more space and the duo has fine-tuned their individual sound. This EP will now be performed on stage for the first time with a band line-up: a tour with the quartet in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland marks the starting point of a new path that Philipp and Claus are taking with their own songs.
