Kittenberg’s Advent Magic
As the days grow shorter and the anticipation of Christmas builds, the Kittenberger Erlebnisgärten in Schiltern are transformed into an atmospherically lit winter wonderland. Just 16 kilometres from Krems, 50 lovingly designed themed gardens invite you to take a stroll through the Advent season. Over 650,000 lights, festive decorations and atmospheric fire pits make the gardens shine particularly brightly at dusk.
As well as the illuminated garden settings, visitors can look forward to seasonal delicacies and a varied programme for young and old alike. This makes a visit a wonderful opportunity to spend time together and get into the festive spirit.

The Kittenberg Advent Magic takes place from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. The themed gardens are open daily from 11.30 am to 7.00 pm. They are closed on 24, 25 and 31 December and on 1 January.
